Return & Refund Policy

This Return & Refund Policy (“Policy”) governs all purchases made from Handy Trendy through this website. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this Policy.

Nothing in this Policy limits any mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.


1. Handmade & Custom Products – No Cancellation

All Handy Trendy jewelry is individually handcrafted.

Custom-made, personalized, and made-to-measure items are strictly non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

Orders customized in gemstone selection, size, wire type, metal, finish, engraving, or special request are final sale.

Cancellation of customized or personalized orders is not permitted once production has begun.

In accordance with Article 16(c) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized.

No exceptions shall be made except as required by mandatory law.


2. Standard (Non-Custom) Products – EU 14-Day Withdrawal Right

If you are a consumer located in the European Union, you have the legal right to withdraw from the purchase of non-custom items within 14 days of delivery, without providing a reason.

To exercise this right:

  • Written notice must be sent within 14 days of delivery.

  • The product must be returned unused, unworn, undamaged, and in original packaging.

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Refunds will be processed only after the returned item is received and inspected.

Handy Trendy reserves the right to reduce the refund amount if the product shows signs of use beyond what is necessary to inspect its nature and characteristics.


3. Sale, Discounted & Promotional Items

Unless required by mandatory consumer protection law:

  • Sale, discounted, promotional, or clearance items are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

  • Custom sale items remain strictly final sale.

For EU consumers, statutory withdrawal rights apply only to eligible non-custom items.


4. Damaged or Incorrect Items

Replacement or refund requests will be considered only if:

  • The product is received damaged, or

  • An incorrect item was shipped by Handy Trendy.

To be eligible:

  • Notification must be sent within 48 hours of confirmed delivery.

  • Clear photographic and/or video evidence must be provided, including original packaging.

Failure to report within 48 hours or provide sufficient documentation may result in rejection of the claim.

If approved, Handy Trendy will, at its sole discretion:

  • Provide a replacement, or

  • Issue a refund.


5. Return Authorization & Conditions
  • Returns are accepted only after written approval from Handy Trendy.

  • Returned items must be unused, unworn, in original condition, and in original packaging.

  • Return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the customer unless otherwise required by law.

Handy Trendy reserves the right to reject any return that does not meet these conditions.


6. Refund Processing & Deductions

If a refund is approved:

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless required by law.

  • Return shipping costs are non-refundable.

  • Customs duties, VAT, import taxes, or government charges are non-refundable.

  • If such charges were prepaid by Handy Trendy, they will be deducted from the refund.

  • If such charges were paid by the customer, Handy Trendy bears no responsibility for reimbursing them.

Refunds will be processed only after the returned item has been received, inspected, and approved.

Refunds will be issued using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.


7. Non-Delivery Due to Customer Responsibility

Handy Trendy shall not be liable, and refunds may be refused or reduced, if delivery fails or the parcel is returned due to customer-related reasons, including but not limited to:

  • Incorrect, incomplete, or invalid shipping address

  • Refusal or failure to pay customs duties, VAT, or import taxes

  • Refusal to accept delivery

  • Customer unavailability

  • Failure to collect parcel

  • Failure to sign required delivery documentation

  • Any act, omission, or negligence by the customer

In such cases:

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable.

  • Return shipping and administrative costs may be deducted from any refund.

  • Reshipping is possible upon request, with all costs paid in advance by the customer.

Handy Trendy accepts no responsibility for losses arising from such circumstances.


8. Lost Parcels in Transit

If a parcel is suspected to be lost in transit:

  • The customer must allow up to 30 calendar days from the estimated delivery date for the parcel to arrive.

  • A parcel will only be considered officially lost after:

    • The shipping carrier confirms the loss, or

    • A formal carrier investigation has been completed.

The customer must cooperate fully with any postal or carrier investigation, including providing required documentation.

If the parcel is confirmed lost after investigation:

  • Handy Trendy will issue either a refund or a replacement, at its discretion.

Handy Trendy is not responsible for delivery delays caused by customs clearance, postal disruptions, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond our control.


9. Digital Products – No Refund

All digital products, including but not limited to tutorials and downloadable content, are non-refundable once access has been granted.

For EU consumers, by purchasing digital content with immediate access, you expressly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal in accordance with Article 16(m) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU.


10. Product Variations & Handmade Disclaimer

Due to the handmade nature of our jewelry:

  • Natural variations in gemstones, wire wrapping, texture, finish, and size are inherent and do not constitute defects.

  • Minor differences from product photographs may occur.

  • Color variations caused by screen settings, lighting, or device display are not grounds for refund or replacement.

Each piece is unique and individually handcrafted.


11. Right to Refuse Service

Handy Trendy reserves the right to refuse returns, replacements, refund requests, or future service if claims do not comply with this Policy or applicable law.


12. Governing Law

This Policy shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with applicable laws, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in the customer’s country of residence.
